Care Tips:

1. Light: Money plants can adapt to different light conditions, but they prefer bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch their leaves, while low light might slow down their growth.
2. Watering: Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it’s essential not to let the plant sit in waterlogged soil.
3. Soil: Money plants thrive in well-draining potting mix. A standard potting mix with some perlite or sand for added drainage works well.
4. Temperature: They prefer normal room temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). They are not cold-tolerant and should be protected from drafts and sudden temperature drops.
5. Fertilization: Money plants don’t require frequent fertilization. You can feed them with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
6. Pruning: Regular pruning helps maintain a bushy and compact shape. Pinch back the growing tips to encourage branching.
7. Propagation: Money plants are easy to propagate. You can propagate them from stem cuttings. Simply cut a healthy stem just below a node (where a leaf is attached) and place it in water. Roots will develop, and you can then transfer it to soil.
8. Pests and Diseases: Money plants are relatively resistant to pests and diseases. However, overwatering can attract fungus gnats. Wiping the leaves regularly with a damp cloth can prevent dust buildup and discourage pests.
